The EDUC E-tandem Language Programme is a tool for the development of language skills and intercultural competences. The programme pairs two administrative staff members from different universities within the EDUC- alliance to practice a language of their choice, enhancing intercultural communication skills in a friendly and professional environment.
Goals
The programme aims to equip staff with the necessary skills to communicate and work in a foreign language within a multicultural environment, while also providing an opportunity to engage in a common objective with EDUC partners using digital communication.
Participating in this programme may help with planning for physical staff mobility or staff secondment, career advancement, and skills development in general.
Organisation
Staff from two different universities will be paired up to meet online at least 12 times between March and October 2025.
The programme consists of online tandem meetings - 12 hours in total, including 3 hours with a tutor.
Total minimum: 12 hours (mandatory)
Call for participants
Up to 8 participants from each institution will be selected, with 1-4 participants chosen to join a waiting list.
Selection criteria will include:
- Motivation
- English level A2-B1 (to communicate with the tutors)
- Compatibility with other candidates
