Meet our research observation interns!

After having completed the EDUC online course “Initiation to Research and Critical Thinking”, Bachelor students have the opportunity to apply for a one-week work internship in a laboratory at an EDUC university in Europe!

An excellent opportunity to spend a period of observation in a research laboratory! Selected students have the chance to interact with researchers and PhD students.

Let’s discover the feedback of previous interns:

Meet Eliška, a Chemistry Bachelor student of the University of Masaryk

I did my observation internship in the University of Potsdam. I enjoyed the whole connection among all the activities (theoretical and practical). Also, I have discovered many information that I have to consider for my future career.

Meet Selma, a Biology Bachelor student of the University of Rennes

I did my observation internship in the University of Masaryk. The research team at Masaryk University was very welcoming. I observed but also did some experiments that I would not have done as an undergraduate student at my home university. I also had some free time to explore Brno.

Meet Michal, a Chemistry Bachelor student of the University of Masaryk

I did my observation internship in the University of Potsdam. During my stay, the goal was to prepare a peptide with a defined frequency of amino acids and isolate it. Thanks to this, I tried chemical techniques that I would not normally have access to.

Interested in experimenting a 1-week observation week?

The internship can be in a research laboratory at your home university or at one of the EDUC universities in Europe (mobility grants are available). Following the internship, you will be required to submit a final report (in your choice of format: Word, video, PPT presentation, poster).

Students eligible to apply for the internship will be contacted in the weeks following the end of the online course.
