Sustainable Cities Workshop and Conference

We're thrilled to share highlights from the recently concluded Sustainable Cities Workshop and Conference on November 10, 2023, as part of the EDUC-SHARE initiative.

Attendees were immersed in a thought-provoking session led by Dr. Glied Viktor, where they delved into the intricacies of a fictional city called Five Towers.

The workshop tasked students with preparing a sustainability plan and engaging in discussions and arguments, considering the government's and citizens' perspectives.

Program Highlights:

  • Keynote Speech by Massimiliano Mutzu Martis: The Smart City for Sustainable Urban Planning: The Key Role of City Dashboards in Managing Urban Heat Islands
  • Enkhjin Gombo-Ochir: Contemporary Approach to Preserve and Repurpose of Cultural and Historical Heritage
  • Luiz F. C. Serigheli: How dealing with Biological Invasions can help us think of Sustainable Cities?

The project “EDUC-SHARE” received funding from the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme under grant agreement No. 101017526.
